Day 56 and the floors got installed but one of the kids puked at school.

The floors got put down yesterday and I was hoping for a better experience I guess. They were supposed to be there before or right at 9 and then it ended up being 10:30 before they came. I was expecting it to be faster than it was. One guy was doing all the work while another guy just followed him around watching his phone. They finally left at 9:45 PM! Then the toilet wasn’t able to used because they needed different screws for it. At that point I’m like whatever, I have 6 sick kids that need to go to bed and they can’t do that with a bunch of people, 4 workers at this point, and power tools being used. Just get out of my house. Get everyone to bed. This morning was a rough start for school but got everyone up and out the door. Come home and I’m waiting for them to come fix the toilet when the school calls about number 3, he puked in class, awesome. I just picked up 3 and 4 and brought them home so I didn’t have to make more trips. Now they have to stay home tomorrow too.

The toilet finally got fixed, number 3 only puked one other time when we got home, and no one else has puked. We skipped football practice with all the sickness and then the cold temps I said nope, not today.

Day 56 and I’m tired of flooring and germs.
