Day 86 and it just never ends.

Nothing like going to the basement for something random to find a leaking pipe…on your clothes totes. I don’t know how to fix these things! This is when I would have called him and he would have fixed it or known who to call to fix it. I called his dad and he came over and figured it all out for me. His uncle then came over and helped to fix it as it was the toilet leaking from when they put the floors in. Apparently they put the wax ring on wrong when they replaced it after putting in the new floors. While it was an easy fix it still wasn’t what I wanted to find when I went to the basement.

I finally got the bank to fix the payment that they applied incorrectly so that’s nice, it’s only been 6 weeks that I’ve been dealing with that. The bank also finally let me become the “successor-in-interest” for the house, that’s only taken almost 3 months. They wanted me to refinance in only my name and I was like ummm, no. There’s no way you can compete with the interest rate we got a couple of years ago when we refinanced. The bank guy looked and was like oooooohhhhh ya, that wouldn’t happen now. I’m like I know, let’s just leave it alone.

Day 86 and I got the leak fixed and hopefully got the house finally squared away.
