Day 106 and things you notice when you lose weight?
So it’s getting cold out. It’s really cold out when I have to wait in a wind tunnel for boys 3 and 4 at preschool pick up. The big difference this year is I’m over 80 pounds lighter than previous years. I’ve always been tall and skinny. All through growing up I was just naturally skinny because of how tall I am. I wouldn’t say I was fit or toned or anything like that because I didn’t have to work for it, ever. Then I had kids and it went downhill quickly. When I got preeclampsia with my first it was like a switch was flipped in my body and there was no such thing as losing weight but I also wasn’t willing to work for it. Now I’m about the same I was in high school but I look a lot more toned and my thighs are skinnier. Maybe I just didn’t pay attention like I do now? I don’t know but being this size again I am realizing I am cold a lot more, I get colder faster, and it’s expensive to lose weight! I have had to replace everything in my wardrobe because I had been my previous size for 10 years. It’s crazy to think about. I will say though that I feel a lot better physically and mentally about myself and what my body is able to do.

Day 106 and I’m so thankful for my body that carried all of my babies but now I’m thankful for my body that is carrying me through to a healthier version of me.
