Day 107 and it was a half day.

The oldest kids had a half day at school today for training for the teachers. Number 2 has been doing so good since starting his medicine. His teacher sent me a picture at the end of the day that he was able to pack up all of his things and get ready after only being instructed to do so once, he needed no other reminders. He’s consistently been able to complete his classroom work and has needed a lot fewer redirections of behavior. Overall it’s been really good for him to start medication. I hope it continues this way for him but also know that he could have some setbacks still.

To celebrate everyone’s hard work we rented a movie and just relaxed. It was nice to just sit inside under blankets eating snacks. It’s been really cold out and we’ve been on a constant go that taking the break felt nice. I even snuck in a 10 minute cat nap!
