Day 111 and fever means no school.

For some reason number 2 spiked a fever again and could barely keep his eyes open. He woke up at 5:30 and then fell asleep from 6-8:15, when I had to take the others to school. We came home and he quietly played with some of his dinosaurs until we piled up the 2 from preschool and he ate a light lunch. He said he would lay down and relax for 10 minutes but then he was getting up. He lasted 2 minutes in his bed before he was zonked out again for 2 hours and I had to wake him up again to go get the oldest from school. He just needed the rest I suppose but at least no more fever. He said he was ready to go back to school which is a good thing because tomorrow is the last day before break.

I spent my day continuing to disinfect as much as I could to hopefully stop these nasty germs. The schools are full of sick kids but the parents keep sending them. The schools aren’t cleaning like they should. It’s a mess. People keep saying well they have no immune system because of covid and that would have worked last school year as an excuse but not this year. This is the second year without masks at school. Please keep your sick kids home. Kids are gross little humans that share everything.

Day 111 and I’m over the sickness.
