Day 125 and can we just not? Thanks.
Can we normalize older people not asking questions about your appearance? It’s not so much the appearance but how they’re asking a rude question but making it seem like they care. For example; “have you been getting enough sleep?…because you have bags under your eyes.” “Ave you done something new to your hair?…because I can see the grey.” “Have you been sick?…because it looks like you’re not eating.” And the list could continue but these are not ok questions to ask people! At what point in your life are you taught to ask a leading question that is rude and has nothing to do with you?

Just because you may be older does not give you a free pass to talk to someone like that. Clearly if I was sleeping enough I wouldn’t have “bags” under my eyes but since my husband is on vacation. in a casket at the cemetery, no, I haven’t, and it shows. Which also leads to not having enough time to take care of myself the way I used to with coloring my hair every 6-8 weeks, so yes, my hair is starting to show more signs of my actual age progression and the every day stress I’ve been under. And finally, I do eat, but I also workout because someone has to be able to keep up with her 6 boys. It’s me, I’m her.
Day 125 and I’d rather you just ask what you really want instead of trying to act like you care.
