That Widow

Day 130 and I made another check off the to-do list.

Since my husband died one of my priorities was getting his car in the garage since it’s not being driven all of the time. I got my van in as it was my “spot” but he always parked on the street. Well, the neighbors now have 2 teen drivers plus their 3 vehicles and huge rv but they can’t use their garage because it is stuffed to the gills with junk. That means the teen drivers have been parking in front of my house, in his “spot”. I took to parking his car in the driveway but wanted it inside. His sisters wanted different things from the garage that I wasn’t using and kept saying they would come and get it but never did. Yesterday, I put an end to that.

I text his sisters and said that their things were on the porch and when they were free they could come and get it. Worked like a charm! They came a few hours later and got it. Then I played a game of Tetris with his yard stuff and finally got the car in. Whew does that feel good!

Day 130 and moving on to the next thing.
