Day 139 and have you ever heard a picture talk?

Obviously the picture isn’t talking, I haven’t lost my mind…yet lol, but can you look at a picture and distinctly know what the person is saying in that picture and how it sounds? I do it all of the time. I was looking at my Timehop pictures and one popped up from 6 years ago. I was 8 months pregnant with our second son and we were at a winery doing a tasting with my in-laws. I was drinking water while they sampled the wine as we had these tickets that were expiring and he likes wine. Anyways, we took pictures and I can hear his voice as I look at them. One of them though there is this look that he would give me and the noise was like a humming sound which would be him asking me “what?”. It’s the look though with that hum noise, I can hear it.

Throughout the day I can hear what I would imagine he would be saying to me and it’s comforting. Most of the time it makes me laugh because I know he would be saying “what are you doing now?”. We would watch cooking shows and I always teased that I need a mini blowtorch and he would say “you’re the last person that needs a fucking mini blowtorch. You’d burn down the house!”. I saw someone using one on a show the other night and said I need one and started laugh jt because I know what the answer was. It’s these little things that help make it through the day.

Day 139 and I wonder how long it takes for the brain to forget the sound of their voice, because I never want to.
