Day 146 and another learning curve.

Report cards came out for the boys and they all got honor roll! I mean I don’t know how you get honor roll as opposed to not in preschool but they all got it. Super proud of all of them and glad to see that they’re adjusted and making progress but he’s not here to celebrate their successes. I looked to tell him after I saw their grades but of course he wasn’t here. Learning to be content with who we have, each other, and celebrating these accomplishments together is something that has to be done.

We called my brother at his new house and celebrated with them but I could just see the oldest wasn’t as excited as he used to be, when he could tell his dad. We’ll go to my husbands condo later today so they can yell out the window how they got straight A’s and that will have to be enough, for now.

Day 146 and we’ll get there.
