That Widow

Day 154 and it’s something about that store.

Is there a store that you can go into and feel so inspired and you’re like I’m the king of the world! But then you get home and you’re like nope, I’m really not. That store for me is Ikea. I can go in there and imagine all of these great projects I’m going to do and I’m going to transform this space and that space and I’m doing it on a budget! I can almost taste my success of doing it! Hours later and playing car Tetris of how to get it all home…I realize it’s not happening.

My husband hated going in there with me. He also hated crate and barrel, I was sure I would be revamping our kitchen with all of the things when in reality it’s a mix match of real and plastic ware, target I can get lost in for hooooouuuuurrrrrssss, I just get some great inspiration. The problem is coming home and realizing I have 6 kids that are most likely going to destroy everything by the time they make it out of our house so it’s probably best to wait on those improvements.
