That Widow

Day 157 and it went really well.

The oldest had to have his crowns replaced because he grinds his teeth when he’s sleeping 🤷‍♀️ I’ve never heard him do it but the teeth don’t lie. The kicker is they aren’t really crowns like an adult would have but more like a pop can covering the tooth. It’s still just as expensive though because why not charge to much money for a pop can? The difference this time is he did it with just laughing gas. Normally he has to be put completely out if they’re going to do anything other than a cleaning so we took a chance that he would be ok with just the gas. He was a little nervous but then once he understood to breathe through his nose he did great! He did so good that they went ahead and replaced a couple of the sealants that he’s apparently cracked too. They said no mouth guard though until he’s an adult and after braces. Seems counterproductive to me to damage adult teeth that aren’t going to fall out and be replaced but I’m just a mom who doesn’t know anything.

We picked up #2’s cake and cookies for his birthday. He’s so excited but I’m so sad. I always get sad when the boys get older. I keep telling them to be like Peter Pan and never grow up but they just laugh at me. #2 said he’s getting big because he eats food lol Don’t we all kiddo, don’t we all.
