Day 89 and it wasn’t another ring day but he scored some points!
The oldest had his playoffs/ championship games today and they won the first game but couldn’t bring it home on the second. He did score a touchdown and it was the only points his team scored in the second game. He was so excited! He was surprised when he got the ball and made a warrior cry and took off. A kid was trying for his flags but ended up getting his shorts so he just kept on to the end-zone. He looked so much like his dad running. I cried from happiness for him scoring but also sadness that his dad couldn’t be there to cheer him on too. It was bittersweet. Thankfully one of the other moms got it on her phone and sent it to me.
Day 89 and I’ve got tears just typing about it, such a softy these days.
